The Studio
The Studio is a separate, intimate space found at the back of Puck with a maximum capacity of 20, depending on layout and use.
Amongst other things, it's a great space for art shows, crits, workshops, performances, meetings and pop up shops...
Hire includes tables and chairs if needed - as well as other items to be discussed - and a small, private outside area.
For wall display/art shows, The Studio has a STAS J rail for hanging and adjustable lighting. It also has ultrafast wifi from Brighton Fibre.
As a guide price, hourly hire of The Studio during standard Puck opening hours starts at £30/hour.
However, everyone involved in running Puck knows first hand that hire costs can be prohibitive and we do not want this to happen here!
We really want our space to be used for exciting and important happenings and so with that in mind, if you're a freelancer, a community group or want to use our space for a non-profit event, we'd be genuinely happy to chat to you and try to figure out a hire solution that works for us both.
And if you have a slightly bigger event in mind, it's possible to hire the whole of Puck!

Accessibility
Puck is housed in an old building and is a very curious, sprawling length and shape. The Studio is located on the ground floor at the very back of the space but owing to the building's structural layout, the journey through the space might not work for everyone. Please visit Puck in person so you can determined whether the space will suit all your access needs. And if Puck isn't suitable, we'll happily recommend some local spaces.
