We really care about the stuff we sell and choose products based on their quality, the integrity of their creators and how personally excited we are about them!

It's also top of our priorities to keep everything we sell price-accessible because we want Puck to be a place that you can actually afford to spend your time. But we also want to be completely transparent and say that we also need to keep ourselves afloat in a climate that is anything but friendly towards us and any other Independent business. And so, if you do decide to spend your time and money with us - from the bottom of our little Puck hearts - we salute you.

Our Cup Choice...

"Your cups are paper?"

We operate a Puck Pal cup scheme: We want you to feel at home, so we encourage you to bring your own favourite cup that we'll keep behind the counter for you to use each time you visit! You'll also get money off each drink.

You're also more than welcome to pop in with your own keep cup each time, but if you visit us without a cup, we'll serve your coffee in a disposable cup whether you're drinking in or taking away. This is so you can move in and out of the space at will, without any extra charge for drinking in or changing to a take out anyway if your plans change after ordering.

Heads up that there's a massive myth about compostable coffee cups being eco-friendly, which is why we use the cups we do - we can recycle these. Click this link to the British Coffee Association page to read about the compostable cup myth.

Drink

Mushroom Powders

Mush Mór is passionate about the accessible health benefits of nutritious fungi and also fascinated by their unique flavour profiles. They supply us with mushroom powders that they create sustainably with ten - yes, ten! - functional fungi. As well as tasting delicious, they might just change your life.

We mix the powder into our exclusive lattes - Turmeric Spice or Magic Cacao - but you're more than welcome to custom them to suit. You can also buy the packets to enjoy at home.

Mushroom Tinctures & Honey

We're proud to offer functional mushroom tinctures from the passionate and super knowledgable Brighton-based Monkey Fungi.

They make their dual extracted tinctures in small batches from 100% fruiting bodies, grown here in the UK. We generally stock their full range in bottles for you to take home, but we also use them to create seasonal drinks. Pop in to see what's on offer.

We now also sell their organic raw honey infused with functional mushrooms, such as Chaga-infused Red Fir Honey. Oh my!

Coffee

We really care about our coffee. Coffee shops often serve blends (which, don't get us wrong, can be brilliant!), but here at Puck we're proud to only serve high end, single origin coffee from local roasting legends - and long-time friends - Pharmacie.

We sell bags of beans that we'll grind to suit your home coffee machine too.

Our coffee changes regularly so check out our in-store board to read about what we're serving today.

Selling single origin coffee is also one of the reasons we don't sell syrups!

We come under a lot of stick for it, but because our single origin beans change often, syrups simply don't always compliment the coffee's flavour profile.

Syrups are also often loaded with artificial ingredients and so if we ever do create anything using syrup, we'll always use one made from natural ingredients from a reputable maker.

If you have a sweet tooth though and like vanilla, a delicious natural alternative that we do think generally complements our coffee is sugar infused with real vanilla pods.

This is delicious in other drinks too, not just our coffee!

Milk

Milk is an extremely important, yet often overlooked, ingredient.

We offer different types of milk: plant based - oat, almond and coconut - and if you’re after dairy, we only serve glorious full fat from Downsview Farm’s free range herd. It even has an old-school cream top!

Eat

We don't call ourselves a cafe because we don't cook food to order, but our sausage rolls and cakes are perfect to pair with a cuppa!

Heads up that during most public events we do serve food specials - chilli nachos are a favourite - and we also dish up proper desserts at our mouth watering late night Pudding Pop Ups!

Sausage Rolls

Our massive sausage rolls are made by the brilliant This Little Piggy, based down the hill in the Open Market. Get your chops round their tasty plant-based and vegetarian rolls, as well as meaty ones with exciting flavour combinations.

We bake them fresh every morning, so get them while they're hot!

Sweet Treats

Our drool-worthy cakes come from the fabulous Gosh Patisserie based in Worthing, who supplied the shop on this site long before it was Puck.
